Israel strikes Syrian Army headquarters

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they carried out a strike on the Syrian Army headquarters located in the Damascus region.

“The Israel Defense Forces continue to monitor developments and the ‘regime’s’ actions against the Druze civilian population in southern Syria. In accordance with the instructions from the political leadership, the IDF is striking targets in the area and remains prepared for various scenarios,” the statement said.

According to the announcement, additional forces will be sent to the border following the attacks on the Syrian Army. Earlier, local sources reported that Israel had struck a site near the Ministry of Defense in the Syrian capital.
