Putin meets with Iran’s supreme leader’s senior advisor at Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Ali Larijani, Senior Advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, at the Kremlin, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated.

“President Vladimir Putin today received Ali Larijani, Senior Advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, at the Kremlin. Iran’s representative conveyed, on behalf of his leadership, Iran’s assessment of the situation in the Middle East and the developments regarding Iran’s nuclear program,” Peskov said.

The Russian side reiterated its support for stabilizing the situation in the region and emphasized the importance of a political resolution to issues related to Iran’s nuclear program.
