Tehran has always stood by the Syrian people, says Iranian Parliament speaker

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has called on Iranians to maintain national unity, noting that this unity prevents Iran’s enemies from launching another aggression against the country.

“The Iranian people have inflicted a heavy blow on the enemy during the 12-day war. The most significant factor preventing the enemy’s encroachment on our beloved Iran is national unity, which the world has witnessed. Undoubtedly, every Iranian’s greatest duty is to preserve this unity,” Ghalibaf stated.

Referring to Israeli attacks on Syria, Ghalibaf said that Israel seeks to destabilize, disarm, and destroy Muslim countries to expand territories it has occupied.

He underlined that Tehran has always stood by the Syrian people and defends the unity and territorial integrity of the Arab Republic.

“The Zionist regime is the enemy of any kind of peace, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity in the region. The only language it understands is the language of strength,” Ghalibaf stated.
