Azerbaijan’s and Georgia’s foreign ministers meet in Tbilisi

The foreign ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan held a meeting in Tbilisi, reports Georgian Public Broadcaster.

Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili stated that her country is interested in maintaining regional stability and security and is making consistent efforts in this direction.

“We have always noted and would like to reiterate that Georgia is committed to ensuring stability in our region and is constantly making efforts in this direction,” Bochorishvili said.

During the meeting, the parties discussed various issues related to bilateral relations, as well as recent regional developments. According to Bochorishvili, the relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan now hold “both regional and global significance.”

Today, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also met with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili.
