Peskov responds to question about ‘Zangezur Corridor’

The issue of the “Zangezur Corridor” is a matter of Armenia’s and Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.

Earlier, the Spanish online publication Periodista Digital, citing sources, reported that Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States have already reached an understanding on the creation of the “Zangezur Corridor,” which is referred to as the “Trump Bridge” in the document.

“This is a matter of sovereignty for Armenia and Azerbaijan. We are strongly supporting the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We want both Baku and Yerevan to sign the agreement as soon as possible,” Peskov told reporters.
