
Pashinyan holds phone call with Pezeshkian
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Armenian government reports.
During the call, Pashinyan presented the results of the talks held on Aug. 8 in Washington.
As noted, Pashinyan emphasized that regional transport routes will operate within the principles of countries’ territorial integrity, sovereignty, jurisdiction, and on the basis of mutual respect.
“Nikol Pashinyan thanked the Iranian President for his objective assessments of the Washington agreements and stressed the importance of the Iranian President’s upcoming visit to Armenia,” the statement said.
