Russia to study unpublished details of Trump Route project
Russian Foreign Ministry representative Alexey Fadeev stated during a press briefing that the agreements between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia remain in force, as none of the parties has withdrawn from them.
“We are ready to continue providing support to our partners in all areas to help normalize Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. As for the Trump Route, we will study the details of this project, which have not yet been made public. As we have said, the involvement of non-regional powers in the South Caucasus should promote a peace agenda rather than create new problems and dividing lines. Armenia’s membership in the EAEU and the presence of Russian border guards in Syunik must be taken into account when unblocking transport links,” the official noted.
