Putin–Zelenskyy meeting not discussed in Alaska
Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with NBC News that a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Alaska was not discussed, and that the subject later arose “unexpectedly.”
“These reports are spread mainly by Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his European sponsors. It was not discussed. The issue came up later, one might say in an improvised manner, after a meeting in Washington between U.S. President Donald Trump and his guests,” Lavrov stated.
