Iran’s ambassador in Moscow says gas supplies from Russia could begin soon

Iran hopes that Russian gas supplies via Azerbaijan could start in the near future, with almost all issues related to Gazprom already resolved, Iran’s ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said in an interview with TASS.

“We hope this will happen soon. We are currently negotiating with Gazprom, and nearly all issues have been resolved. However, we still need to reach a common understanding regarding the price. Once this matter is also settled, everything can begin,” Jalali stated.
