Zelenskyy meets Trump’s special envoy
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with U.S. Special Envoy Keith Kellogg to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
“Ukraine is extremely grateful to the United States for its support. We value President Trump’s determination to achieve real peace. It is very important to implement the political, defense, and economic agreements reached during our meeting with European leaders in Washington. Undoubtedly, this was a successful summit, a true demonstration of unity between Europe and America. Ukraine, as always, unites the world,” Zelenskyy wrote.
He noted that Ukraine appreciates the United States’ readiness to participate in shaping the country’s security architecture.
“We discussed how we can influence the Russians, compel them to engage in genuine negotiations, and end the war. Sanctions, tariffs—everything must remain on the agenda. We are ready to talk in a leaders’ format. This is precisely the format needed to resolve the key issues. Now the same readiness is needed in Moscow,” Zelenskyy stated.
