Western countries offered Georgia weapons to open 2nd front against Russia, says Kaladze
Representatives of Western countries reportedly offered Georgia’s authorities military supplies if they opened a “second front” against Russia, Kakha Kaladze, Secretary General of the ruling Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia party and mayor of Tbilisi, told reporters.
“There have been direct threats, blackmail, and insults aimed at pressuring the country to open a ‘second front.’ They promised to provide support to everyone, including the necessary military equipment and more,” Kaladze said.
He added that the authorities are ready to reveal the details of the negotiations if evidence is needed.
“However, in the interest of the country, it is better to leave things as they are,” he concluded.
