
Erdoğan meets Aliyev and Pashinyan, voicing support for peace
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held meetings with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his visit to China, Turkish media reports.
Erdoğan expressed satisfaction with the progress of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, stressing that Turkey supports peace, stability, and development in the region and will continue to contribute to that process.
During his talks with Aliyev, the Turkish president reaffirmed that Ankara would maintain its involvement in advancing peace efforts. He also underscored the need for closer coordination on joint regional development initiatives between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the next phase.
Erdoğan further noted that the two countries would continue to strengthen cooperation, particularly in the fields of energy and transportation.
