Iran hasn’t abandoned nuclear talks with US, says Ali Larijani
Tehran has not given up on continuing negotiations with the United States over Iran’s nuclear program, but Washington is setting unacceptable conditions, said Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.
“The path to negotiations with the U.S. is still open, but Americans are only verbally in favor of talks. At the same time, they do not come to the negotiating table, unjustly accusing Iran for it,” Larijani wrote on X.
According to the official, Iran is in favor of constructive dialogue.
“By imposing unachievable demands, such as restrictions on the missile program, they are preparing the ground to exclude further negotiations,” Larijani concluded.
