IAEA and Iran agree on new cooperation format

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and Iran have agreed to resume inspections at the Islamic Republic’s nuclear facilities, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.

“Today in Cairo, I reached an agreement with Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi on practical ways to resume inspection activities in Iran,” Grossi wrote on X.

Earlier, Tehran had announced a suspension of its cooperation with the IAEA.
