Such protest actions will make it almost impossible to bring back what has been lost: Davit Babayan on initiative to march to Hakari

The Russian peacekeeping troops refused to escort the convoy
of cars moving toward the Hakari bridge. The protest action was organized by
the Artsakh Revolutionary Party. Leader of the party Artur Osipyan made a
Facebook post on this.

The peacekeeping troops explained the refusal: “The
Statement of November 9, 2020 does not stipulate that the Russian peacekeeping
contingent escort convoys of cars carrying out protest actions or ensure
security during various actions and demonstrations,” reads the letter.

Adviser to the President of Artsakh Davit Babayan told ABC
Media
that it would be better if such actions were organized solely by the
state, as the responsibility for any failure or incident will fall on the
state.

“Other problems may arise as well. Thus, such protest
actions will make it difficult or almost impossible to bring back what has been
lost,” Davit Babayan said.

In response to the question if the state plans to organize
such protest actions, Davit Babayan did not give any clear answer. As he put
it, it remains to be seen.
