Zelenskyy agrees to meet Putin without preconditions, but not in Moscow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said he is ready to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, either in a trilateral or bilateral format, without any preconditions. However, he set one condition: the meeting must not take place in Moscow.

“I am ready to meet with President Trump and President Putin in a trilateral or bilateral format… I am ready to meet without any conditions,” Zelenskyy said in an interview with Sky News.

He also stated that he does not intend to travel to Moscow for negotiations but remains open to proposals to meet in any other country.

Trump had previously announced preparations for a meeting between Putin and Zelenskyy, which could be followed by a trilateral meeting with him. Yuri Ushakov, the Russian president’s aide on international affairs, noted that during a phone conversation, Putin and Trump expressed support for continuing direct talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations.
