Russia supports swift normalization of Armenia–Turkey relations, says Foreign Ministry

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said during a press briefing that Moscow favors the prompt normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey.

“We view the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations as one of the essential conditions for lasting peace and stable development in the South Caucasus. We are ready to continue supporting our Armenian and Turkish partners in this direction, including within the framework of the 3+3 consultative platform,” Zakharova stated.
