What is happening in Gaza is genocide, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is responsible for that, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with Fox News. He stressed that Netanyahu has “mercilessly killed tens of thousands of people.”

Speaking about Hamas, Erdogan said he does not consider the group a terrorist organization. “For me, it is a resistance movement,” he stated.

The Turkish president also commented on the war in Ukraine. “I do not believe the conflict in Ukraine will end soon. That is bad news,” Erdogan said.

He added that he does not think Europe can continue providing unlimited economic support to Ukraine.

“Ukraine is not able to compete economically with Russia. Our hope is that this support will continue,” Erdogan noted.
