US and allies to defend every inch of NATO territory, says Mike Waltz
At a U.N. Security Council meeting, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Mike Waltz called on Russia to refrain from violating the airspace of NATO member states.
“I once again call on Russia, as a permanent member of this Council, to uphold international peace and security, respect the sovereignty of its neighbors, and stop violating their airspace,” Waltz said.
He noted that the United States and its allies will defend NATO territory against any potential threats.
Earlier this month, Warsaw reported the destruction of Russian drones in its airspace.
