US to provide security guarantees to Ukraine only after war, says Zelenskyy

U.S. President Donald Trump is ready to offer security guarantees to Ukraine only after the war ends, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a press conference.

Zelenskyy did not provide details on the security guarantees, noting that work is under way with the U.S. side.

“We don’t have specific details yet, but we will work on acquiring certain weapons necessary for the security guarantees,” the Ukrainian president said.
