Normalization process between Turkey and Armenia proceeding as planned, says Erdoğan
The process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia is proceeding as planned, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said during his speech at the UN General Assembly.
Erdoğan also expressed support for the “peace-building initiatives” between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on Aug. 8.
“I congratulate Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan, as well as U.S. President Trump, who have contributed to the process leading toward sustainable peace,” Erdoğan said.
