A chance to unveil plans will come soon, says Abraham Gasparyan

Impeachment has two attributes: political and legal. The political aspect, in turn, manifests in two areas: first, at the parliamentary level, and second, through street mobilization, political analyst Abraham Gasparyan said before the start of parliamentary hearings on impeachment.

According to him, the parliamentary hearings, taking place about nine months before elections, have three main goals: first, in the field of propaganda; second, in terms of refining legal-political mechanisms; and third, regarding international experience, through experts and legal professionals.

“By bringing international experience here and making it available to political forces, international law specialists can help the two main opposition forces in parliament sit down together, put all issues on the table, and move forward on a specific agenda. This is a serious incentive if all anti-government forces can rise above ambitions and pool their resources,” Gasparyan noted.

When asked by a journalist what it means that he is getting engaged in politics, Gasparyan responded: “I have already announced that I will engage in political activity, but will not form a political party. This is about a much more active role, about participation in political processes. There will be a good opportunity to reveal secrets soon; I will announce the format later.

I only want to emphasize that I will be in the national, state-oriented field, on the path of a technocratic, progressive, and just Armenia. I have completely ruled out cooperation with the authorities and their satellites, but cooperation with other forces is, of course, on the agenda and relevant.”
