Hungarian drones enter Ukraine’s airspace, says Zelenskyy
Reconnaissance drones launched from Hungary entered Ukrainian territory, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, noting that the drones were likely Hungarian.
“They may have been conducting reconnaissance of the industrial potential in Ukraine’s border regions,” Zelenskyy said following a meeting with the military.
According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the drones twice crossed the state border and carried out flights over the Zakarpattia region.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó responded to Kyiv’s accusations, insisting that “Zelenskyy is beginning to lose his mind over anti-Hungarian sentiments.”
