Netanyahu says there is no starvation, there is deprivation in Gaza

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said there is no starvation in Gaza, only deprivation. He made the remarks in an interview with Fox News.

Responding to a question about starvation and the blockade of humanitarian aid in Gaza, Netanyahu said Hamas is responsible for the humanitarian situation. According to him, Hamas attacked aid distribution centers controlled by American companies, looted them, seized food trucks, and left Palestinians with only crumbs and leftovers.

Netanyahu also noted that when Israeli forces take Palestinian prisoners, the first thing they do is to ask them to take their shirts off. This, he said, is intended to determine who is a terrorist and who is not, since detainees could be wearing suicide vests and potentially detonate themselves and those around them.

“Now we have got thousands and thousands of photographs throughout the war, including in recent times. You won’t see a single emaciated person there,” Netanyahu said.
