PACE member questions whether ‘Zangezur Corridor’ serves Armenia’s interests
A member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) asked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan whether the so-called “Zangezur Corridor” serves Armenia’s interests in the same way it serves Azerbaijan’s.
“You are using the expression ‘Zangezur Corridor.’ Where did you get that expression, where did you read it? Such a term does not exist, has never existed, and, rest assured, will not appear in any Armenia-Azerbaijan agreement,” Pashinyan said.
“No one has the right to impose a name on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia that has not been accepted by Armenia. I strongly condemn the use of illegitimate terminology,” he added.
