
Netanyahu apologizes to Qatari PM for attack on Doha
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has apologized to the Prime Minister of Qatar, Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, for the Israeli strike in Qatar on Sept. 9, The Times of Israel writes.
Netanyahu spoke by phone for several minutes with Al Thani from the White House, where he is being hosted by U.S. President Donald Trump.
As noted, Israel’s prime minister apologized for violating Qatari sovereignty in the strike. It says it is possible that Israel may pay compensation to the family of the guard.
