Macron expresses hopeful about full peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan

French President Emmanuel Macron said he hopes that a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan will soon be signed.

“This morning I met with Prime Minister Pashinyan, and in the afternoon with President Aliyev. We hope that the initial signing will be followed by a full agreement — with all the necessary steps toward a comprehensive settlement in the region and the establishment of relations with other neighboring countries,” Macron told reporters in Copenhagen.
