Serbia’s president says Turkey dreams of restoring Ottoman Empire

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said he is concerned about Turkey supplying thousands of drones to Kosovo, noting that Turkey seeks to restore the Ottoman Empire, RIA Novosti writes.

“It is now absolutely clear that Turkey does not want stability in the Western Balkans and once again dreams of restoring the Ottoman Empire. Serbia is a small country, but we understood the message well,” Vučić wrote on his social media page.

He also accused Turkey of violating the U.N. Charter and U.N. Security Council resolutions.
