
New government formed in France
French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has formed a new government, the Élysée Palace said.
Jean-Noël Barrot has retained his position as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Former Minister of Labor and Health Catherine Vautrin has been appointed Minister of the Armed Forces, while Laurent Nuñez, the Prefect of the Paris Police, will serve as Minister of the Interior.
Roland Lescure, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Energy Sovereignty, as well as Gérald Darmanin, Minister of Justice, have also kept their posts.
