Arayik Harutyunyan: I declare Artsakh a disaster zone, expecting the international community to respond

The international impunity enjoyed by Azerbaijan must end
one day. Or else, it will lead to new heinous crimes. In fact, we are on the
brink of this. President of the Republic of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan said
this during his press conference.

Arayik Harutyunyan also referred to the RA authorities,
urging them to refrain from recognizing Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.

“In view of the current critical situation in Artsakh
and the growing threats to the physical existence of our people, today I
declare Artsakh a disaster zone, expecting the international community to
immediately respond to what is going on here. We look to the international
community for security, political and humanitarian aid, both collectively and
individually. Currently, Artsakh is the only place in the world experiencing
total isolation and blockade, being denied any kind of humanitarian aid and
international presence. And if we are not given immediate international aid
even after declaring Artsakh a disaster zone, we can certainly consider Artsakh
a concentration camp with its full consequences to be felt,” the president
of the Republic of Artsakh said.
