Abraham Gasparyan: They have to call a spade a spade in Artsakh. Sit-in is not a sensible move

As a matter of fact, the sit-in staged by the president of
Artsakh attests to the political default. Director of Genesis Armenia Think
Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor
Abraham Gasparyan said this during his interview with 168.am.

“People have been creating this state for 30 years and
have been protecting it at the expense of their sons’ lives. They have ensured
maximum security, so that in the end, the head of the country will say that he
is going to tackle the issue through a sit-in. I don’t think this is a sensible
move,” he said.

“People are disappointed and do not place trust in
anyone. Residents of villages are facing an information blockade under the
influence of the authorities’ propaganda machine,” he said.

He noted that they must call a spade a spade in Artsakh.

“Arayik Harutyunyan, Gurgen Nersisyan, Ruben Vardanyan,
why are you criticizing the Armenian nation by calling us indifferent? We are
not indifferent. We have sacrificed and will sacrifice everything for the sake
of Artsakh. But you have to call a spade a spade. It is Nikol Pashinyan, who is
to blame. If you have the courage to say that, the Armenian nation will stand
by you,” Abraham Gasparyan said.
