Azerbaijan sees positive results from Washington agreements, says Bayramov
Azerbaijan is already seeing positive results from the agreements reached at the Aug. 8 summit in Washington, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a joint press conference with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsahkna.
According to Bayramov, one of the positive developments was the launch of the process to dissolve the Minsk Group on Sept. 1.
“We are aware that negotiations between the United States and Armenia continue regarding the implementation of the TRIPP project. Among the positive elements, we can also highlight Azerbaijan’s decision to allow the transit of cargo through its territory to Armenia — in particular, the supply of grain from Kazakhstan,” Bayramov stated.
