Ruben Mkhitaryan taken into 2-month custody

Ruben Mkhitaryan, a member of In Our Way popular movement and the son of the legendary weightlifting coach Ashot Mkhitaryan, has been remanded in custody for two months by a decision of the Shirak Regional Court of General Jurisdiction, the movement said.

Mkhitaryan was arrested from Gyumri’s central square several days ago, during the operations aimed at arresting Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan.
