We must say a collective ‘no’ to attempts at division, says Aram I

Serious attempts are being made to divide our nation, Homeland, Church, organizations, communities, and Armenia-Diaspora cooperation — both around us and within our lives, said Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia in a statement titled “Beware, Armenian People!”

“Let us be awake and alert. Let us hold fast to our values, sanctities, traditions, and roots — rejecting any value systems, ways of thinking, or behaviors that are alien to the moral, spiritual, and national principles that define our essence and safeguard our identity.

Our Church is one. Our homeland is one. Our nation is one. We must say a collective “no” to all attempts at division — visible or invisible. This is the message of our history, our heroes, and our saints — today and always,” Aram I stated.
