With some longstanding conflicts resolved, no glimmer of hope in other hotspots, says Lukashenko
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that although several long-running conflicts have recently been resolved, there is still no sign of hope in other global hotspots.
“Recently, we have managed to achieve solutions to several protracted conflicts — Azerbaijan and Armenia have signed a peace agreement, the two-year war in Gaza has ended — but this is only the beginning… In other hotspots, there is no glimmer of hope. I hope this is a good start,” Lukashenko said at the International Conference on Eurasian Security, held in Minsk on Oct. 28-29.
