Tehran to rebuild and strengthen nuclear facilities, says Pezeshkian

Tehran will restore its nuclear facilities, Mehr reports, referring to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.

“The destruction of buildings and plants will not pose a problem for us; we will rebuild them and make them even better. The goal of all this is to address the needs of our people,” Pezeshkian told state media.

He added that Iran does not seek to possess nuclear weapons.

In June, the United States carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, which Washington said were part of a program aimed at developing nuclear weapons.
