Aliyev tells Armenians not to fear ‘return of Azerbaijanis to present-day Armenia’
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has stated that the “return of Azerbaijanis to present-day Armenian territory” should not alarm the Armenian people or the state. He made the remarks during a speech marking the 80th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s National Academy of Sciences.
Aliyev also announced that, under his orders, “extensive geological work has been under way in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur for several months.”
“I am also issuing directives to government bodies, and I believe that in the coming months we will begin receiving very good news,” Aliyev stated.
