Trump says Russia-Ukraine conflict no longer threatens to escalate into World War III thanks to him
U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that, due to his actions, the Russia-Ukraine conflict no longer poses a risk of turning into a world war.
“If I had been president, this conflict would never have happened. And if I weren’t president now, this war could have led to World War III. That’s not going to happen,” he said during a speech at the White House.
The American leader also noted that the United States has stopped providing free weapons to Ukraine — now NATO is paying for them.
