Armenia has no plans to abandon Russian wheat, says Pashinyan
Armenia has no intention of abandoning Russian wheat, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today during a press briefing, denying a report from the press office of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service.
Earlier, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service press office had claimed that Armenia, for political reasons, intended to “separate” from Moscow and assist Ukraine by purchasing part of Kyiv’s wheat at higher prices, with the extra cost allegedly covered by European Union funds.
