Erdoğan uttering threat of war
At the NATO summit in Vilnius, Turkish President
Erdoğan stated that they are waiting for the withdrawal of the Russian
peacekeeping troops from Artsakh in 2025. In fact, there is more to this
statement than meets the eye. It is not the first time that Turkey overtly and
covertly announces support for Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian actions from the
world’s highest tribunes.
Experts say that this statement is an immediate threat of
war or maybe a promise of it. This is evidenced by the covert, but at the same
time rather aggressive anti-Russian propaganda that has been being campaigned
in Azerbaijan recently.
