‘Zangezur Corridor’ construction in Azerbaijan nears completion, says Aliyev

The construction of the “Zangezur Corridor” in Azerbaijan is nearing completion, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced while speaking at the 7th Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State in Tashkent.

“I am confident that the agreements reached in August in Washington regarding the connection of Azerbaijan’s mainland with the Nakhijevan Autonomous Republic will contribute to expanding international transit and transportation opportunities,” Aliyev said.
