In Our Way movement says Armenian statehood experiencing deep crisis that must be overcome with joint efforts

Today’s decision by the Anti-Corruption Court has once again demonstrated the absence of justice in the Republic of Armenia, the In Our Way movement said in a statement.

“With regret, we note that anti-democratic practices have been established in our homeland, under which a single person decides who should be taken into custody and for how long, while verdicts are announced not by the court but by a newspaper belonging to the ruling family—one day before the court hearing even concludes.

Armenian statehood is experiencing a deep crisis that we must overcome together. The Republic of Armenia must not become one man’s pocket state. No matter how hopeless the situation may seem, and no matter how brutal the pressure from the current authorities, we will not stop our struggle for even a second.

We are sure that together we will succeed and we will win—in our way,” reads the statement.
