
Back to Istanbul process and cooperate with US and Russia: What Erdoğan and Zelensky discussed
Turkey can maintain relations simultaneously with both Moscow and Kyiv, RIA Novosti writes, citing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with his Turkish counterpart today, Nov. 19.
Erdoğan shared some details of the meeting, saying he urged the leader of conflict-affected Ukraine to restore the Istanbul process and cooperate with Russia and the United States to resolve the conflict.
Zelensky, in turn, stated that he wants to resume the prisoner exchange process by the end of the year. He also said that all initiatives and actions in the negotiation process should aim to ensure a dignified peace and security.
