What message did Aliyev’s adviser ask 5 Armenians to convey to Armenian society?

Azerbaijani President’s adviser Hikmet Hajiyev asked five members of Armenian civil society visiting Baku to deliver a message to the Armenian public, Areg Kochinyan, who visited Baku, said during a press conference today.

“His message is that the war is over, that for Azerbaijan the war no longer exists, and that Azerbaijan wants to build peace from this ‘no-war’ situation and move toward peace. They wish to establish a long-term and comprehensive peace with Armenia and are ready to move forward along this path. Importantly, Azerbaijan has no territorial claims against Armenia. These are the messages that the Azerbaijani president’s adviser asked us to convey to Armenian society,” Kochinyan said.
