Armenian civil society representatives meet with Hajiyev in Baku

Representatives of Armenian civil society who traveled to Baku yesterday met with Azerbaijani experts, Azerbaijani media report.

During the meeting, discussions were held on “the dynamics of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the role of civil society in promoting dialogue, and joint projects planned for the near future.”

An agreement was reached to establish direct communication between the expert groups and to plan reciprocal visits to Armenia and Azerbaijan on the margins of the Peace Bridge initiative.

During the visit, Armenian experts also met with Azerbaijani president’s adviser and head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev.
