Vardan Oskanian: If Pashinyan remains silent, it will be possible to dramatically change the situation in the Artsakh issue in 2-3 months

Former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian took part in the signature collection launched by the Hayakve initiative, after which he answered journalists’ questions.

He noted that Pashinyan shows the international community the easiest way to transfer Artsakh to Azerbaijan, which the international community supports because it wants to resolve this issue.

“It is desirable for the international community that the Nagorno-Karabakh issue is eventually resolved, but, believe me, they are not interested in it. They are following the path that has been opened for them. They take whichever path they find the easiest.

Today, Nikol Pashinyan is showing the international community the easiest way – surrendering Karabakh to Azerbaijan. Of course, the international community will support Pashinyan in everything so that this resolution can be achieved. The moment the Armenian authorities find a new wording, believe me, the position of the international community will change dramatically,” Oskanian said.

He stated that he was ready to take responsibility for changing the situation in the negotiations drastically within two or three months, with the precondition that Pashinyan remains silent and simply does not speak either in the National Assembly, in the government or anywhere else.
