Araghchi says 3+3 format promotes region’s stability, peace, and development

Iran supports the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said during a joint press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

“Expanding ties between Iran and Azerbaijan was also part of our discussions. Iran supports the 3+3 format — we have always supported it. This mechanism contributes to stability, peace, and development in the region,” the Iranian minister stated.

Earlier, it was reported that Jeyhun Bayramov said there is no reason for Yerevan to reject Baku’s proposal to hold the next 3+3 meeting in Azerbaijan.
