
Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process discussed in Tbilisi
Tbilisi hosted the annual joint meeting of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of Georgia and Armenia, the Georgian Parliament’s press service reports.
During the meeting, participants discussed bilateral relations, the importance of strategic partnership, and opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
The sides exchanged views on regional security, current challenges, and future steps to promote a stable and peaceful environment in the region. Members of the Armenian Parliament also discussed the ongoing peace process between Yerevan and Baku.
Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Georgian Parliament, described the discussions as productive.
He emphasized the importance of Georgia and Armenia acting together on international issues, noting that such cooperation will contribute to the stable development of the South Caucasus.
