New fatalities reported in Iran following clashes

The death toll from clashes that erupted during protests in Iran has risen.

Fars reports, three people were killed on Saturday afternoon as a result of clashes in Iran’s Ilam Province.

According to Mehr, several other individuals sustained injuries of varying severity during the unrest.

Earlier reports indicated fatalities in the cities of Lordegan, Isfahan, and other locations. The protests were sparked by the depreciation of Iran’s national currency and the country’s deteriorating economic conditions.
