Trump and Erdoğan discuss Venezuela and Gaza over phone

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and U.S. President Donald Trump held a phone conversation, the Turkish Presidential Office reports.

The leaders discussed a range of regional and global issues, including the situations in Venezuela and Gaza.

According to Anadolu Agency, during the call Erdoğan warned that violations of national sovereignty and disregard for international law are risky actions that could lead to “serious global complications,” emphasizing that Ankara opposes any action that breaches international law.

Bilateral relations between Turkey and the United States were also discussed during the conversation.
